Is the "Donald Braswell" who finished 4th in America Has Talent, some of the Braswell's in Minden during the 40's and 50s? He has such a tremendous voice, good looks and is a very humble and unassuming man. Even though he didn't come in first, he should have a great future.

It is my understanding that Donald Braswell is Judianne Braswell’s nephew – I saw him on the finals of the show - America Has Talent– absolutely beautiful voice and I was so hoping he would win – he is also very handsome, and I’m sure he has a big career ahead of him since he made it to the final four even though he didn’t win.  He was wonderful!  I even called in and voted for him especially after I found out he was Judianne’s nephew...

In response to Faye - Donald Braswell, on America Has Talent, is the SON of Donald Braswell who grew up in the old Braswell home, which is now Calloway Gradens, Sibley, La.  There were three boys, Arnold, Lloyd and Donald. One sister, Judianne, who now lives in Longview, TX. Their father was Claiborne Braswell. Judianne and I were school friends and still visit and stay in contact. She tells me that Donald is just that humble and is a wonderful father and person. You may have heard part of his story told on AGT, but several years ago he was in an accident and badly damaged his throat and was told that he would never sing again!!! He credits his amazing recovery to prayer, his faith and support of family. I am sorry that he did not win. Let's hope that wonderful things, for this talented young man, will come his way.
