The Methodist Church, Minden, Louisiana was erected in 1905. The land was
donated by W. A. Drake in 1839.
1875 - Graduating Class reunion held in 1895 for the Minden Female Academy
1910 Building - This was where I attended Junior High School in Minden, Louisiana. By 1948 Minden had brand new grade schools.
They were first called East Side and West Side. Later, they were renamed Richardson and Stewart. After Lowe Jr. High School was
built, this 1910 building was torn down. That school is now an alternative school and that name has also been changed.

This community house was still standing in the fifties. It was also located in Victory Park. Bridal showers, school parties,
Saturday night hillbilly jamborees and various other functions were held here.
