Wife: Madeline

In the 30 year reunion book he and Madeline had been married 23 years.

They were the parents of two children. A son, Dwayne, is now deceased
and a daughter Dianne. She is the mother of their two grandchildren who are
residents of the state of Oregon.

Another memory he had was when Byrd High School played Springhill and
the score was 20-20. The next week they played Minden and the Crimson
Tide won the game. The coaches were George Doherty and Pat Nation.

While he was in high school Jimmy played guard for the MHS Crimson Tide.
One of his favorite memories was in 1953 when they beat Springhill 27-13.
That was the year the famous John David Crowe needed a crying towel after
the Minden Springhill game because he set on a bench and cried because he
didn't get another another touchdown that night to become the all time scorer in history.

It was another outstanding win for the Minden Crimson Tide.
