Charles Edward Drake - U.S. Navy

After graduation, Bo joined the U.S. Navy. He served from 1954-1958 and was assigned to the Admiral of the 5th fleet on the USS Orca. He was a Class 9 Top Secret Cryptographer in the Navy, one of only nine in the world at that time.

He coded and decoded top secret messages and delivered them to their recipients in the fleet. He had one of the most important jobs in the Navy and was proud to serve.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Bo attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston from 1958 until 1961.
