Dalton Paul Young, Sr.

HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Dalton Paul Young Sr., 71, Trigg County, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
 
He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam. He also was a farmer and a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist Church and American Legion.
 
Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Mary L. Young of Cadiz; three sons, Dalton Paul Young Jr. of Whitehaven, Pa., Todd V. Young Sr. of Cadiz; and Wade A. Young of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Terry Lynn Hrudicka of Illinois; two brothers, Theo Young of Blanchard, La., and William C. Young of Cadiz; a sister, Zelda Harber of Minden, La.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Young and Ollie Chance Young; one brother; two sisters; and a grandson.
 
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rocky Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with military honors.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
